I work as a Software Engineer at JTech (Jamhuriya Technology Solutions) in Mogadishu, Somalia.
I build web and mobile applications, AI-powered features, and machine learning solutions — working across the full stack to deliver secure, scalable products for clients in Somalia and beyond.
My day-to-day work spans React and Next.js for web, mobile app development, and integrating AI/ML models into production systems.
I am based in Mogadishu, building this blog to share what I learn about software engineering, AI, and mobile development. Learning in public helps me grow and connect with other developers.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new AI tools, contributing to side projects, and staying up to date with trends in agentic AI and modern software engineering.
I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science from Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology, and I am focused on growing as an engineer while building meaningful products at JTech.
